| So with York Acorn coming up at the weekend, what kind of side do you expect us to put out? Can see it being a young side but with some bigger forwards as protection for the kids. Aydin will surely play as he missed yesterday, and people like Gardiner and Fash
Getting my tickets tomorrow, kids for free is great. I'm guessing we can sit or stand wherever?

| Can see it been a mixture of our better youngsters and fringe players, something like
Moy
Briscoe
Westerman
Hardaker
Barron
Kemp
Cust
Fash
Balmforth
Aydin
Lane
Jebson
Gardiner
Salaibo
Hutchinson
Kirby
Sao
Or something similar it would have been an ideal game for the likes of Charles, Laidlaw and Litten to get going but unfortunately injury has ended that, I just hope it goes better than our last trip to Fev where we had about 4 long term injuries and God knows how many cards.

| Everyone not injured has to play assuming we play our best 17
They have cobwebs and they also need to practice that second half more !
Sorry for York but we need to practice and practice hard
I expect 90-0 win

I just don't see what meaningful practice and fitness they are going to get playing against amateur opposition. For me it's just about getting through it without injuries. I would look at the squad and say, which players can we not afford to be without for the start of the season. Those guys wouldn't play. There is no point.
Moy
Martin
Westerman
Briscoe
Barron
Cust
Kemp
Sao
Balmforth
Aydin
Lane
Jebson
Gardiner
Salabio
Fash

A smattering of first teamers to show respect to York Acorn and the competition, another chance for a few of the youngsters to make an impact, and guys like Asiata, Rapana and Sezer wrapped in cotton wool.
Even with that team I would expect to be winning by at least 80.

| It's unfortunate we drew the amateur team. We'd get a lot more out of a tougher game against a championship team

Again, I'm just not sure what we would gain by running in tries at will that we couldn't just get from opposed training.

| The likes of Ese'ese, Rapana, Cartwright and Asiata aren't worth risking for me. Could understand the reasoning behind playing Cust and Sezer together for some more valuable game time, with Callum Kemp on the bench to come on for 30 mins or so.
Moy
Barron
Hardaker
Westerman
Briscoe
Cust
Sezer
Aydin
Balmforth
Salabio
Holmes
Lane
Fash
Gardiner
Sao
Hutchinson
C. Kemp
You'd like to think they'd be enough there to get a more than convincing win.

Would tend to agree, question is do you risk either Sezer or Cust for them to get some more time on the field in a game situation? As no disrespect but would there be any more benefit from doing that against York Acorn compared to say an opposed game at training?

| According to this [urlhttps://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/rugby-league/john-cartwright-outlines-hull-fc-9912346[/url, we'll field the 'majority' of the first team with anyone not 100% fit missing out.

| I would not risk Rapana, Sezer, Asiata, Ese'ese, Hardaker, Cartwright. Maybe not Cust either.
We don't want to start the SL season missing any of them.

| Difficult one. Do we go in for 40 min with decent team. Get them used to the plays etc......Then 2nd string to give them a good runout .....Then if you do that you risk injury?.......Devil you do Devil you dont
