You take that first step off the train.. You look around, you know where you are, with a big deep breath and a puff of the chest, you realise.. this is it..
You storm towards the first pub, expecting a barrage of saints fans, but you find nothing but an eerie silence..
Your heart is pounding, all you want is to get the first bit of banter off your chest..
You step outside and in the distance you can faintly hear.."Our team that played.." Your dying to catch up, get the latest team news and share your views with any saints fan you can find..
That ever lasting walk upto Knowsley Road seems to take longer than planned, but suddenly your there, Stood in the famous old away end, You watch the two teams emerge, singing your heart out to any song that you hear.. and then.. the Ref blows his whistle, all talking is said and done.. This is it.. St.Helens V Wigan, the biggest derby in rugby league and your there...
