We all heard the rumours, but I said Moley has just scooped the club he’s signed for, not that he’s leaving Wire! I was told last Friday night about the rumour his wife was homesick and wants to go back home.

Cynically speaking, is this why his form is so much better in 2023 knowing his family are homesick so plays out of his skin to get a decent contract in the NRL, I hope I am wrong, but its very suspicious.

Gutted to be losing Mikaele, as he has been excellent this season. But looking on the bright side, if we do manage to bring in a centre - be it Patrick Herbert or someone else - we might end up with a more balanced squad in the longer-term as a result. A second row would be better still. I would feel happier about it if we didn't keep getting our props injured, though!
