It's not a rubbish side - we've put out worse and won so we need to be up for it which is stating the obvious I know. |

Widnes fan here...

We're still missing Thompson, Bridge, Ah Van, Mellor, Gilmore, Whitely, Dean, Marsh, Leuluai, Olbison, Armstrong, Ashall and Craven. Six of our 1-13 are out and trouble is they're mostly backs. Our right side will likely be Ince, Chamberlain, Johnstone. Three academy graduates, Ince has been at Hunslet all season and Chamberlaian Workington. Massive step up.

I'd expect Wakefield, a good team, to beat us by about 30. Close to start with and then you pull away from us as the game goes on. |

Hope you are right but being favorites and people expecting us to win doesn't generally end up too well for us. |

This year we have been favourites in League games 4 times and won all 4.

I really like Arundel and what he does but felt that Tupou was just starting to come into his own before his injury.
Miller and Finn looks the best halfback combo, so it's a fight between Sio and Williams for the bench spot.
Looks a good strong side and if we can keep our discipline and be patient there is more than enough quality there to win this game.

I know it was against Dewsbury but, Arundell was awesome in the second half.
Strong defence, making breaks and putting his wing man away.
He would be unlucky to miss out and he can drop into 2nd row if required.
I'd put him ahead of Batch for this one. |

I'd go for that line up also - but Arundel instead of Lyne wouldn't bother me - both good, but perhaps Arundel has the edge on fitness maybe. |

He has done nothing wrong and i would not drop him for players just coming back from injury, they have to fight for their place back in the side.

My view also. Arundel played well against Catalans and Dewsbury apparently so deserves to keep his places. |
