I’m all for us playing it if it’s a full strength team we are playing and they take it seriously. Do I think we’d beat them over there? Probably not but I’d like to see us test ourselves and give a good account.

If they are playing half a side then it’s a long way to travel and disrupts our season bearing in mind we’d have started the season.

Don’t blame them in the slightest if Penrith feel like they can throw a bone and treat an English club like a warm up act.

If they want a proper game and a Saints fan would rather leave it, then I’d have a go.

yes massively disrespectful of Penrith to say (before the game has even been agreed) that they would be playing the youngsters basically making it a training run. If the WCC is going to be treated like that by the Aussies, i would rather it not played at all.

Only way i would go if i was Saints with that knowledge, is if Penrith agreed to pay for the trip. No chance of that like but if they want to take the mickey...

I think Saints should go.............................. and send their Academy team, valuable experience for the youngsters.
