are we better to get phone, broadband and tv seperate or the same company, im with virgin at the moment and paying 70.90 a month for my package, any thoughts

What do you get for that price? We pay £40 a month for phone and line rental (don't seem to pay for many calls), internet access and BT vision. Don't have any sports channels as I refuse to pay to watch my sport on the box.

That's about what i pay for my Sky package, which is for phone, free evening and weekend calls, Internet, and tv, on the tv we have everything except the movie channels.

Ive just upgraded to 60mb broadband and i was wondering if anyone knew a good (free) speed test site that will tell me in simple xmb.

When I ran it yesterday I clicked the start now and it started to download its software. When I cancelled and started again it just ran the test. The man at BT said it shouldnt be downloading anything but it was.

Here is my tip to save money with Sky , phone Sky up , tell them you have had Virgin on the phone canvassing about cheaper packages , and you thinking of switching ,then ask them if they can reduce your monthly rates to stop you from changing , i did this recently and they reduce my Sky payments by £20.00p a month for 12 months , try it you have nowt to lose .
