I'd like to just add that the demolition of the Willows was a complete loss of a wonderful ground, not a Salford fan but I have witnessed some excellent games there and without doubt following the demise of Station Rd had one of the best playing surfaces in Rugby League. It was a pity the powers that be couldn't have saved the ground and developed it as it had character unlike many of the new stadiums today.
