As SL is looking likely to be away for some time thankfully the NRL will be back soon. I have watched every so often the last few years but gonna try pick a team to follow, who do you all follow? Any recommendations? The raiders obviously have an English contingent?

It's been Manly for me for years, after after watching a couple of games at Brookvale and away in Brisbane. Just personal choice though.

Manly because I've been to Brookvale and South Sydney because I bumped in to Luke Burgess at the their training ground at Redfern

I’ve watched a lot of NRL but never as a supporter of a team. I let the kids pick so my son and their mum are following the raiders and me and my daughter are following the sharks as that’s who Ava played for!!

I would be surprised if the NRL resumes in May.

i normally follow the sides where the brit players are so naturally Canberra at the minute. i was fond of Roosters when Moz was there and Wests when Gaz Ellis went and both sides did well too at those times. Souths too with Burgess bros. when i was a kid i liked Parramatta because they played in our colours

May 28th has been the date for a while so i see no reason why it will not start then

I’ve been to see the Tigers and Chooks, so it’s one of those. I’d have to say Chooks as Moz went there and so did Muzza.

Tigers for us, Benji Marshall initially got us supporting them and then we found out our Aussie relatives support them too .
On a plus note for them when my youngest was getting grief off his mum to play football instead of rugby years ago, I emailed them asking if they could help with a signed Benji picture , I didn't expect anything but weeks later the picture arrived with a card signed by most of the team (yes I know probably printed but you get the point ) . He still has the picture and card on his bedroom wall , he was allowed to chose which sport he preferred , picked rugby and he's doing pretty good .

As far as I can see that side of the world is fairing much better than ours with Covid-19. I'm not sure under what stipulations they were told to target May 28th so hard to argue either way really.

I couldnt support any other RL team. Id pick Patramatta if i had to pick a NRL team tho. Same colours as Leeds
