Don't think so. I watch Barnsley RUFC occasionally and I don't think he plays anymore.
I think they're in the same league this season and haven't played them yet so we'll see....

Mark Aston was at Sheffield Oaks RU for a while (at like 40)

He has not played for them for a couple of seasons, but lives right next to the West Park ground & is still a regular in the clubhouse.
When Lowes was at West Park , he played at centre & was the goalkicker !!
Other notable ex-RL players who later turned out for junior RU clubs include John Bentley (Cleckheaton), Garry Schofield (Redcar), Gary Pearce (Pocklington), Graham Steadman (Knottingley) & Tony Marchant (Castleford RUFC). |
