OK, (for us) the season's over, so here's something to have a bit of fun with...

Seve Ballesteros, the famous Spanish pro golfer, was legendary when it came to hitting a golf ball. He would prove just how good he was by playing a round of golf with just one club (normally a 5 iron) and shoot under par with it. No drivers, no putter - just a 5 iron. The one club challenge!

Assuming the same thing applied to SL, which player in the current squad could you have 17 of and still be in with a chance of becoming SL champions?

My player ... Kevin Sinfield.

Strong tackler, good step, great positional sense, big enough to drive the ball in, rangy enough to out-pace defences and a great motivator.

Oh, and a top kicking game as well!

I did a thread like this a few years back, and I think Sinny came up well. I think Marcus Bai could have done a pretty good job too

Leon Pryce would be quite a good player too, unless the game was at Old Trafford

In our squad Sinfield is the obvious choice from Leeds but others such as O Loughlin, would offer as much. I guess looking back into the recent past Farrell and Sculthorpe would be better that any current players. This is basically a thread about who is the most effective player as a forward with some creativity so no surprise all the players mentioned are loose forwards!

Ali Lauitiiti would be the person for me. A great passing ability and fantastic speed at his peak.

never played golf with any of the squad tbh. saw harris playing golf on sky sports interview so he might be good with 1 club.. he's not a leeds player anymore though
