Not sure how many of you have been following but I sense we have a REAL chance of landing Jarrod Sammut who is courting a few northern clubs as he lives in Cleck.

FAX1(LS28) are trying to stoke up the option but having snared QLT this could be a bit too soon. The reality is this marquee signing could truly be the difference between having a very very good team and a PROMOTION winning team.

Time to roll the dice...

Would be epic but we see so many teams going bust whilst chasing the dream, I would hate for us to take that risk.

Mick , I think Sammut would enhance any Championship team, I don't think he's SL material though, rumours are we at Leigh are interested but , I've heard our halves next year will be Riddy already confirmed , and another prodigal returning , I hope the rumours are right.
I would be happy to just compete next season, anything better would be a bonus, we meet Fax early next season, so hopefully I will see you soon.Till then have a good Christmas, and take care.

Strong rumour of us signing him at start of close season never materialised and we've bought elsewhere now.Bringing him in now seems a bit of overkill in halves and Larroyer could be the right option now.

Hard to judge currently because we have currently 2 unknown factors Ie black and the young Leeds lad . Only the coaches and the players will currently have an idea on how that might work . Summit is good but for me he is somewhat inconsistent in the games I have watched him. I always have him down as more of an individual player rather than a team man . I think for me it's leave the cash in a bank time if another opportunity pops up.

He is a must if money permists. Could rotate with muzza and his game management is second to none

Sammut will only sign if the Halifax Coach wants him. I believe Marshall doesn't want him. The club have a £400,000 player budget.
