Just seen it again, was arrested for dd early hours of Sunday morning and given fixed penalty notice.

Received a fixed on the spot fine. Will be interesting to see how the RFL deal with him. That said, Ben Cockayne had a game of 5 a side with somebodies head and the RFL did nowt so i fully expect them to pay Gansons fine for him.

The RFL have punished him by giving him the Friday night Sky game. They've then punished him some more by making him video ref the game the team he supports is playing in on Saturday. |

I think the RFL should take a stance like the NRL and stand Ganson down for a round of matches (or make him ref at Caravan Park for the rest of the season )and let it be known why they have done so. They could also try to take a tougher line with one or two players who step over the line and bring the game into disrepute. |

Ganson is one of the better refs about. (best of a bad bunch admittadly)
Why would we want to stand Ganson down when were libel to get another amateur like Terry Alibert who has no clue? |
