I'm sure that whichever club he goes to will have to release players to accommodate him, because I can't believe Willie Mason won't be demanding the highest wages either of those two clubs have ever paid to a single player.

The fact that he's put a time frame on offers suggests to me that he's trying to get a deal from the Cowboys.

He's a massive character and would give SL some publicity but I can't help feeling that he'll bring the disruption and controversy that has maligned much of his NRL career to whichever SL club pays him the most.

He'd be a good character to have in Super League, I hope he comes over.

And an added bonus is that he'll be taking a large chunk of either Huddersfield or Hull KR's salary cap.

Shocking player, lazy, and bad influence on younger players. What a waste of money that would be for him. Was very happy when he was forced out of the Roosters and just wish he would go to union or something. We dont need him in the game. He isnt the kind of character you want or need in the game.

Despite his reputation Bondi im fairly sure there will be a lot of people over here who would look forward to Willie Mason joining a Superleague Club, be that Huddersfield or Hull KR.

Although he may not be the player he was 5 years ago on his day he can be a very destructive player on the pitch although i aknowledge that he has been far from the perfect role model for young players and supporters but he's certanly not the only one.

I hope he does line up for a Superleague club next season, im sure he will be welcomed with open arms by Fielden, Coley, Hoffman and Lima.

I think he is great, and think it will be great to have him in SL.

Yes he has his baggage but a great character and in the modern age of professional sport a few characters here and there only add to the game in my opinion.

I also think that he will be a great addition to either clubs playing staff and will go very well in SL.
