Is nothing short of brutal. 2 games in and we have restricted both teams to one try. Our line speed and commitment at the ruck is superb. I really cant see many teams breaking us down. They may get over for the odd try - one, maybe two a game if we're playing someone REALLY good, but apart from that, I can see us having the best defence in the league come October. Also, on a related note, did I hear Lockers made 50 tackles last night? Brilliant effort from him, again.

It's the most pleasing aspect of our improved side so far. They're working their knackers off from the first minute to the last and are being very physical.

The best part of last night was only getting our line broke once in that 20 mins before halftime. They seemed to be attacking our like for ages and the lads looked tired but kept pulling off the tackles and pushing themsleves.

Your defence and line speed impressed me most in the friendly game, hard to tell if its going to be best in Super League after 2 games though.

As for putting an early hit on Briers next week we have more then a few who would be glad to show what they can do.

Yeah the line speed is good and we're hitting the ball carriers hard and taking them down pretty quick, less chance of the off load then.

you might be getting the 50 mixed up with it being his 50th career try.

they had coley down for about 20+ in the first 15 minutes...christ knows how many he ended up with.
