for what its worth my prediction is:
1. Toronto - 43 Points
2. Toulouse - 34 / 36 Points
3. Featherstone - 32 Points
3. Leigh - 32 Points
5. London - 30 Points
6. Halifax - 29 / 31 Points
Fax v Toulouse could go either way

| I predict that should we make T4 we will be playing in SL 2019. The travel facing TW in the 8's will take its toll and their only hope is million pound game at home

| Are all TW games away in the 8’s?
It seems a bit short notice to book away trips for potentially 4 teams.

Do you not think we will be a bit dead on our feet for the 8s - we seem a bit battered and bruised at the moment, and we can't afford to relax for any games. Even the "walkovers" we need to maximise the points difference

They will have 4 home games, and won't be allowed to play them in blocks I.e. 3 away then 4 at home as I understand it

I think we finish 3rd looking at the fixtures to come for everyone. Our score difference will be better than Fev and as you say London will be behind us on points.
I also think we have a real shot at finishing with 34 points as I believe we will win in Toronto.

| Plenty of excitement to come yet.
Whoever finishes 5th & 6th pretty much have a 2 month holiday before playing each other in a pointless dead-rubber. Unfortunately this is where the 8’s system falls down massively.
How to fix it, not sure, possibly set them all back to zero, at least that way the teams at least have something to play for. Prize money decided on 50/50 from original finish position and 8’s finish position.

| As long as you don't implode against one of the bottom 6 teams, you'll make the top 4 with 32 points. The five games involving Toulouse, Fev, Fax and London could all go either way. Two competition points between all of them after 18 games, and impossible to call. The top 6 all won their games this last weekend against bottom 6 opposition with ease.

| All I keep thinking is that Sky really are missing out o a superb end to the season for the sake of a load of boring SL matches.

| Forget Toronto - the key game to a top 4 finish for me is the one the following week at Batley. Never an easy place to get a win it's going to be even harder this time around if we still have a limited squad to choose from compounded by the inevitable jet lag from the flight back to the UK. Yes I know that KP/KC will have them up for it but if we are not able to be 100% focussed and fully fit for this game it could well be the banana skin that we slip up on. Hopefully not and if we do make the Qualifiers then, regardless of our eventual position, I think that KP should be given the Freedom of Leyth for what he will have achieved this season after that nightmare start.

Agree 100%, Batley away is a big game, win, loose or draw in Toronto.
(No Rangi this time around)
