This lad deserves alot of credit I think, he's now top try scorer in the league (12) and has looked very solid, the lad lost his mum around Christmas time and has coped with that going into the new season he's got his head down and been playing really well.

Must say young Riley impresses me ever since i first saw him at Widnes 2/3 years ago.Never frightened of getting stuck in both in attack & defence he will take on the biggest of opponents & has the guts to back his own instincts during matches.

He's come on a great deal from his early first team games where he did look out of his depth.
Improvement is partly down to TS and partly him.

Came in off the wing a couple of times yesterday and tackled man and ball. Adding more to his repetoire as he gains experience.
Key factor is being outside Solamona who's laid on some terrific cut out passes for him - like yesterday

Riley is benefitting from being the edge receiver to Solomona. What a player Big Dave is.

Think that Smith has to leave him on the wing where his defence is better & he can finish really well with his speed. For me Riley isn't that effective in the attacking line from full back

Was just looking at the stats on the SL website and considering he's only recently turned 22 it's remarkable to think this is already his sixth Super League season, certainly doesn't seem that long.

When you look at the amount of appearances he has made year on year, I think he's really benefited from a steady increase, rather then being exposed to too much too soon.

The fact that the lad is only 22 excites me the lad will hopefully go on to play for England and be a huge player.

Cracking young player, England potential? I'd have hoped we'd moved on from playing small lads against international teams. International wingers should be cream athletes, Riley for all his wonderful contribution to WWRLFC, is not. If Riley plays for England, i'd be worried

he has come on so much i remember his first game, hudderfield away. he was tiny and kept getting boomed but now he is an excellent player

great for the lad , wire thru and thru, i love it when he comes over to the east stand after every game and gives his dad a big hug, brilliant that is.

He is having a superb season and to overcome such adversity shows him to be a strong character. Good on him. I for one (if I'm being honest) never thought he would "make it as a top flight, top SL team winger" and thought him another Gaskell, but so far so good.

If Hicks had not been out the first couple of weeks, Riley probably wouldn't have played yet!
