| I'd start with Bowman and Handforth at half-back and have Thackeray on the bench, similar to the Dewsbury game in the NRC.

No way of getting around it, this is going to be a tough game. But, hopefully the last two weeks have given us a kick up the backside and hopefully we'll look to put things right.

| No Tangi or saxton. Dale only a possibility and Briggsy doubtful! Hardo is back.
Given the huge game they were in last friday and the injuries sustained in the two cup games together with the 'after the lord mayors show' performance v Swinton, I'm not committing myself to owt!
They'll be a decent crowd!

| We are way off form and making poor decisions and not creating and finishing well. Confidence possibily down a bit recently following the 2 Leigh defeats. Away to Fev who will be well pumped up I think we will do well to get a Bonus Point. Drop Thackray or Handforth for me as both are very poor at the moment and we have no spark at 6 & 7 and its way too predictable.

| Wonder what Horseyfax thinks the score will be.
I think this will be a close one and hope for a fev win but whether halifax have lost a couple of games or not they still have a very good team and losing them means nothing this is another game a week on and they will be up for it just hope we are up for it a bit more

| It is obviously never easy going to Fev. However, I witnessed the 'after the lord mayor's show' display against Swinton at LSV and they really did not deserve to win. I made a lot of money backing Fev to beat Cas by 1-12 points in the CC, but lost a bit when I backed Swinton to turn them over the following week. I am not predicting either way and obviously Fev are on home turf for this one, however look at their performance against Sheffield prior to beating Cas, then the one against Swinton the week after Cas (when Fev were VERY lucky to win) and whatever the outcome, I honestly do not think you could be playing them at a better time. As a Leigh fan, I wish we had played them during this last month. I honestly believe that us or yourselves would have turned them over convincingly at LSV the other week, had it been us instead of Swinton playing them. Even if you do win, I do not think it will be a true indicator of battles to come, because of the fixtures they have had lately. However, the points will keep you up there.

| To be honest apart from Sheffield, we have not played well. London Scholars, Keighley, and York. Perhaps it's because we haven't "gelled" yet. However I go to each game thinking we will win.
So Fev 1 Fax 53.
Whatever we intend to have a great day.
Grandson (Under 8's) playing at Elland Road in the morning. Of to Fev after.

| I really can't see how we're gonna buy a win at the moment, sides have us worked out, especially Rolo, he knows how to pacify Penky & resist a midfield rumble. I'm not happy with the creativity of our half backs & feel it's time for Bowman to come into the start line up.
I don't trust the noises coming out of postage stamp rd with regards to certain players' injuries/fitness cos am sure mind games will be in over-drive in both camps, we suffered injuries of our own at LSV and things are quiet coming out of the Shay, so no disrespect to Powell from me if he is playing the game.
Some of our players need to start justifying their place in the team & if we can't manage to pull off a win, we should at least show enough guts to get a point off Fev, otherwise I'll have to start to wonder why Rhino is persisting with some of the players he brought in. Gannon especially, all season & Barlow last week showed what the pride in the wounded player means to the Fax shirt, more of it chaps, 'cos this Fev lot will knock us around otherwise.
If we lose this game, I don't see us finishing top of the league for the play-offs, early to predict such a statement but I really feel that losing more than two or three games won't be good enough, this is a real tough comp.

| Quote DARE="DARE"ATT - 2500'"
Crowd will be about 1700.
There will be a few hundred fairweathers down the Shay watching FC Town in the Play-Offs.
I know a few folk who follow both of Halifaxs sporting teams and if they wanted to bring the kids along, they'd feel more comfortable bringing them to the Shay than the hostile environment of POR.
Who would have thought some folk would feel safer at a Soccer game than an RL game!
Harrison will not play Bowman against top opposition, so I expect the team will be
Fieldhouse, White, Tyrer, Reittie, Worrincy, Handforth, Thackeray, Morrison, Penkywicz, Robinson, Manning, Divorty, Ashall. Subs: Casey, Azuie, Hesketh(Chandler or J.Barlow if Harrison knocks his Batley Buddies club on the head!) S.Barlow.
Patto will be on one wing in place of White or Worrincy if fit.
Prediction
Fev 32 Halifax 14
MOM: Penkywicz
Weather forecast not looking good again

| I dont expect Bowman to play much in the 1st team for the rest of the season. He just simply isnt good enough, slow and predictable in attack and the worst tackler at the club. KH really cant afford to risk him in such a big game.

Don't read too much into the swinton and Sheff results myself other than DP had bigger fish to fry, The league is now the priority after dumping Cas on their asses.
Our season starts this sunday , we have injuries yes,but I can't see us loosing this one to be honest. It will be close though im going
