A contentious decision or the correct one, hard to call. I get the loyalty aspect and all things Donny including testimonials but I just want us to kick on and get promoted. If some folk/players want to make an issue about it fair do's but its the Coaches job to pick who he thinks is right. Its his sword to fall on.

New coach new ideas that's what we all wanted, we have been calling for a new identity and a fresh approach to things and appointing an experienced guy with plenty of super league surely makes sense, I like kes though and still think he will be vocal and a leader when on the pitch so I don't think an armband will change his approach.

No don't get me wrong on this I'm not saying you meant it as an issue and I take your point regarding the playing staff. It was a wrong statement to make on my part.
