I make that 7 home grown players ready for Super dooper league, I also make it that we need 7 new signings on board to get the correct balance of the team. We could be short on wingers but Ford can player there if needed as can Yates.

Anyone got any other ideas?

The new signings would have to be pretty good. As VM has said, it would leaves us very short for backs - just 5 players contracted at the minute for 5 places. Also the pack would need to strengthed beyond all recognition. At times this season we've been outmuscled by Whitehaven, Barrow, Halifax, Sheffield and Featherstone. Pickersgill should be a massive help, but there's no way in a million years that Simm and Grady can step up and fill the gap left by Fletch and Morrison. IMO Grady should stay in the centres.

Also we had Grayshon for a long time as well

So I make that 13 players down (not mention Penny and Hall) - currently we have 2 new ones in Ford and Pickersgill, IMO we have a long way to go before we have a got a squad that can compete. As harsh as it might be, IMO we have no homegrown player who can come in and take the place of an experienced player. Fletcher, Grayshon, Morrison, Ostick, Dodd and Duffy have all been pretty decent for us and some of those are amongst the top players in the division. I think Mullally is a future star if he progresses, but Flynn aside, no one has really come through and made the shirt their own.

who has fletcher signed for ?

Dont know but he's been released by us.
