He used to have a health food shop on Anlaby Road and I remember going in as a 13 year old girl in 1985 asking him to sign Wembley stuff for me. One if my favourites of that era. Rip Steve.

Sad news for many of us of a certain vintage...

I recall visiting PO Road (early 2000's I think?) Steve was Chairman of Fev, he was a great host and entertained us with a few good tales of his career....

Very sad news, ball in hand Steve Evans was an exceptional player. Good enough to be a big part of that special FC era of players. Great memories. RIP
