Had a leaflet from Sky TV saying that Sky Broadband (including free version) is now available in my area. I live in Hessle and use KC with Karoo.
I have just being to the Sky website and indeed, it does seem I can get it, but that an engineer will have to visit my house and I will need to pay £39 for this, but other than that I can get Sky, Sky phone and Sky Anytime +
Anybody had any experience with making the switch so far. Any considerations?

I live outside of Hull, but had Sky Broadband for about 3 years. Never had any problems with speed etc, but BT is cheaper for us again so we've swapped back to them.

You do know we are talking about SKY Broadband as opposed to the Karoo Broadband that pretty much monpolises the city dont you? |

BT are doing unlimited broadband for less than £7.50 a month? I've just moved to Sky from BT precisely because they couldn't match Sky's deal. |
