Really big sign of intent. Really pleased with this signing.
Tbh, both signings we've made for next season have been a sign of intent. It's fairly rare nowadays, you're gonna sign two regular starting 17 NRL players in their prime, Tyson being 25 and Jazz being 29, to SL, especially from Manly and Brisbane. We've done extremely well to entice players of that quality over to England.
Smoothy not really a regular he played today due to the Origin call ups being ineligible to play.
Jazz on the other hand is absolutely that.
I did wonder where the regular Brisbane middles were! Totally forgot about the interstate exhibition series
I found a good interview with Jazz from a podcast from NZ called Kiwi Hustle. It's an hour long, and Jazz tells his life story. He's quite the character and seems to have that quality that DP looks for, basically being a good bloke, and I bet he'll become another crowd favourite. Also, there's no doubt he's a loose, if there was one and he talks about how that's where he played all his RL but he's been asked to play at hooker by coaches at times but that's not where he likes to play or even plays his best RL.
Well worth a listen going to be a great signing on the pitch

He was injured towards the end of yesterday’s game, making a tackle. It would appear to be his hip, he did try to play on but had to leave the field.
