According to our local rag...we have offerd Gleeson a contract until end of season....personally think its a good move by us as he is still a quality centre and may be what he needs...mind you,wait til Agar works with him.

Your thoughts on this would be good as our board has a few doubters about this.

Yeamon would work well with Gleeson who offers a lot in defence. At the moment the FC backline is lacking something. I would be more optomistic if Long was not at FC as well. Gleeson + Long = trouble

I doubt that Agar is the man to control the dynamic duo

Playing wise, he'll give his winger great service and offer a lot to the team.

Other issues are well documented.

A good coach could contain an environment with both Long and Gleeson in it...Agar is not that good coach.

For the most part, Madge and his team did. He lasted more than a year under Madge and had a cracking season last season. "Personal issues" seem to have gotten the best of him this year, not the "minor disciplinary offence" although that will have obviously swayed things.

i think anyone who offerd him a contract so soon is asking for trouble he needs time to sort his life out and get his home life better
