On the Wire site they say there's a real ale festival at a pub called The Albion on Battersby Lane, 25 different ales , 10 mins walk from the HJ, could be worth a look for some on here.

I just might give that one a try then

Decent boozer is the Albion.Be careful where you park near there,cause of the residents permits.

Ignore them lot the best pre match pub is The Hamthorne down Orford Lane only 2 mins walk to the ground. Does the best Carling on draught as well.

Or if you fancy a bit of a walk down Winwick Rd you Wiganers are always welcome to the Casuals meeting place Tetley Walkers for a swift one before the game!

But you can only get in if you wear armani,drink in the darli,and you like to party...

They won't get in there with Henley's on thats for sure!!!

But as long as you Wiganers like to party your welcome in Darli, if your feeling brave enough to drink round Wazza on a Friday!
