I try the Yorkshire coverage and the Manchester one and they work fine.

Has Ray forgotten to flick the switch again or are Radio Merseyside just inept?

Or should I be aiming my vitriol in someone else's direction at the bloody BBC?

Wish FM say that the Hive doesnt have a direct link, and they tried using 3G but didnt work maybe thats what the problem with the beeb is

The BBC don't have the "normal" way of broadcasting their either. Some dispute with Barnet FC apparently. As Wigan commentator for Wish I can vouch for how bad it is there from visiting a fortnight ago. Just have to accept it's out of the stations hands.

before the radio went off the commentators mentioned the christmas theme. that the George had decided on (nice one Al) even down to the sign saying " Merry Christmas" , it confused a lot of people i believe , even our own fans !!

It was hilarious! The Hive played a Christmas track at halftime (at the request of The George) and those from The George had gone dressed in fancy dress - Elves, Santa, etc. I half expected a couple of donkeys and the baby Jesus to turn up! They must have been hot in that gear as it was scorching down there.

It was a fun trip. The Hive is a great little venue and everyone was really friendly. The Saints fans as a whole (and there was a great turnout) helped create a terrific atmosphere. To give them credit, the London fans joined in totally. You missed a good un.
