Paid a rare visit last night to pay tribute to a legend, nice to see old faces and wonderful supporters, we went corporate but do wish someone had told me I didn't get free drinks allover chapel allerton then in town and 2 lap dances thrown in for my £70! could have had a season ticket at chelsea for what i spent on 1 match, was well worth it though, fantastic tribute by fantastic fans, well done.
Think this week has shown what a true legend John Holmes was.

Excellent article on a great player, remember watching him play when leeds ever played hull from mid 70's onwards, must admit though never realised till his sad passing what a long and illustriuss career he had, i attended the 78 wembley final in my final year school trip and what a great final it was.

Even as a Wigan fan, I feel for your loss.

I hear that past players turned up in their droves to remember JH.
