Thanks you for your enquiry regarding the East stand. The south annex( the part that has not been finished) will be boarded up at ground floor level. The area will them be fenced off. If we can get someone to cover the stand in a wrap then we will do so. If we cant then it will remain as it.

The stand I hope will open in March. As yet I do not have an exact date. There is much work still needed to be done in order for us to open the new stand. Staff are just being appointed to work in the catering/hospitality side of things. Fire extinguishers are being fitted today, tills , desks, chairs are all on order. The new stand is a very complex building and as such all staff who work there need to undergo a full induction. We have started this process. I can assure you we will open the new stand as soon as is possible.

Interesting but ground will not look that good with the big unfinished structure unclad.

I saw some football on telly the other day on that Football League Highlights show, can't remember which ground it was but it only had 3 sides, at the end without a stand, they had erected some framework from which Large rectangular Advertising Banners (made from some sort of material) were stretched, A bit like this only more square.



Putting a few of these up would at least hide the structure, although the set up costs may be prohibitive

Should get a huge poster like Philadelphia have done.

I've seen structures around the country which are covered with scaffolding and then the scaffold is wrapped with a fabric printed with advertising on the outside. It serves as a safety barrier to stop people falling off and any debris falling onto anyone, but it also is a great way to advertise a company or product. It would be a great way for a sponsor to advertise on the unfinished corner structure. The material is perforated in order to allow the wind to pass through so it doesn't rip.
