It was another busy Monday for the RFL disciplinary panel as they considered sixteen incidents to determine whether there were charges to answer.

Five charges were brought; two from the Widnes v. Saints game, one from Hull FC v. Wigan and two from Hull KR v. Catalans. All five were found guilty, but just two will miss out on the coming weekends action after receiving suspensions.

Danny Tickle and Ben Kavanagh of Widnes Vikings were both charged over the same incident for a dangerous throw on Saints Mose Masoe. Both players submitted an Early Guilty Plea (EGP) and no further action will be taken.

The same outcome sees Hull FC's Josh Bowden available for the weekend after his charge for dangerous contact on Farrell in the game against Wigan. Once again his EGP meant no further action.

The two players having time off were involved in the same incident in the Hull KR v. Catalans game. Mitch Allgood was hit hardest after facing the disciplinary panel charged with the 'repeated striking' of Scott Dureau. He was charged with a Grade C offence which carried a tariff of 2-3 matches and finds himself banned for two games. In the same incident Catalans player Ben Pomeroy was charged with 'running in and striking' and picked up a one game ban for the Grade B offence.
